I was pleased to find this beautiful catalogue from the Ohio State Universities in my mailbox yesterday featuring one of my own “ants on a string” vispo productions. Edited by Dr. John M. Bennett and including some great commentary by Marvin Sackner and Bob Grumman, this indeed is a keeper of a book. As always, vispo is a provocative proposition and as one “reads” through one cannot help but reconsider all of the notions about art and semiology and talent and nostalgia and politics.
