The Collected Poems of Barbara Guest. A rich collection.
The Unknown night; The Genius and Madness of R. A. Blakelock An American Painter by Glyn Vincent. An excellent snapshot of the Tonalists. Much new material to me.
The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. Shrill, but on the money.
The Philosophers’ Quarrel; Rousseau, Hume, and the limits of Human Understanding. I’d always wondered about the grim ending of Rousseau’s Confessions. Now I know the reasons for it.
Reveries of the Solitary Walker by Rousseau. Paranoia from the time of the quarrel.
